Climate

As we reach a number of climate tipping points, failure to act means locking humanity into extinction. At a growth rate of 3% a year, the economy will double in size after 23 years. This means by the end of the century it will be 10 times bigger than it is now. We must change the system by significantly reducing the amount of work people do; sharing out the necessary labour; and gearing production towards meeting human and ecological needs, rather than the logics of capital.

Posters for the Global Climate Strike. On 20th September 2019, 4 million workers and students took part in strike action. 6,000 of these posters went up around Scotland before the strike, whilst a further 13,000 leaflets using the 'baton' design were handed out. The 'baton' design was also used on a banner by the trade unionist bloc during the strike in Glasgow. “Strike for climate” poster designed for UKSCN London on placards.
